DEVON DRAKE
CO-OWNER & HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT
Devon operates as our Head of Development. She oversees all aspects of a project from concept to sale, including zoning and entitlement, site selection, and financing to all aspects of design and construction. Her favorite focuses are investor relations and project underwriting.

She is passionate about developing something out of nothing that betters the community and
creates an everlasting impact for each individual.
Devon has the apt ability to see a project before
pen ever hits paper while keeping reality and the finances at the forefront. As she puts it, her favorite place to be is in the numbers.
PHILLIP TAPPE
CO-OWNER & HEAD OF CONSTRUCTION
Phillip operates as the company’s Head of Construction. Phillips focus is ensuring the construction company is hitting budgets and schedules. He also oversees the implementation of lean construction methods to drive the most efficiency in each project.

Being raised in a small town in Central lowa, he applies his midwestern values of honesty and integrity to all of the work he captains. Phillip left lowa to study Construction Engineering at Texas Tech University where he received his bachelors. He returned to lowa to begin a career in construction that would result in him leading a commercial construction company of 20+ employees at only 23 years old. Phillip has successfully overseen hundreds of millions of dollars in construction in various different asset classes.
Phillip’s work ethic is in the foundation of Drake Tappe. He oversees all operations, implements
company strategies, and spearheads new initiatives.
